My Story
Becoming a Physical Therapist Assistant and Yoga Instructor was never part of my plan…
Funny enough, I actually worked most of my life to become a pop singer.
When I was around 16 years old, I graduated high school early and ran away from home to pursue my dreams of entertainment.
After ten successful years of performing on stage, I faced a few horrible back injuries that threatened to end my career completely.
The constant pressure to perform at max capacity over the years ended up destroying my body – to the point I couldn’t get out of bed for days on end — and I was only 23 years old!
At that point, I had no other option than to change direction and leave entertainment or end up crippled for the rest of my life.
It was during this critical time that my life took a dramatic turn – for the better.
From Pop Singer to Physical Therapy Professional
I always knew in some capacity I wanted to be of service and help people in a more personal way than performing on center stage for the masses.
At the recommendation of my sister who is also a Physical Therapist, I decided to enroll in Physical Therapy school and soaked up my studies like a sponge.
I always had a deep obsession with how the body worked — the anatomy, biomechanics, and organic movement.
Immediately, I fell in love with the techniques and innovative tools I learned in school.
And it’s no surprise how the art of healing came so naturally to me. Healing the body just makes sense to me.
It runs in my family – we’re born healers.
When I Found Yoga…
While attending school, I randomly found yoga. That’s the thing…yoga finds you when the time is right and when you need it most!
Yoga came in when everything in life was beating me down…work, school, responsibilities, and a horrible break up.
It was yoga that pulled me out of a deep depression. It gave me a deeper sense of purpose and renewed strength I didn’t have as a professional entertainer.
I was able to just be in my own body and actually ENJOY IT with NO JUDGEMENT!
Now, several years later, I’m a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant and Celebrity Yoga Trainer.
I have earned the privilege of sharing my experience as a personal coach to retirees, students, and celebrities all over the world.
Movement As First Line Of Defense
I truly stand behind using movement as the first line of defense to combat pain, stiffness, and inflammation — and even prevent it from occuring.
Over the years, I’ve witnessed a need for even more healing options than just basic physical therapy, chiropractic care, or a weekly yoga class.
I observed a gap between Physical Therapy and yoga — one that needed to be filled because the two complement each other!
When it comes to the health of your body, my motto has always been: “The best rehab is PREHAB!”
This inspired me to create Yoga Prehab™ — customized preventative yoga and movement courses that actually work to fix the problem, not create more!

Fun Facts
Britney Spears was the first concert I ever attended. It was then, at the age of 13 that I knew I wanted to be a pop star.
My family is from Sicily, but I was born in Buffalo, NY.
I grew up in 2 restaurants and a bakery — so I LOVE to cook and bake.
I got hit in the face with a softball bat (by accident) when I was 10 — I’ve fractured my left hand — I have a stretched ACL in my left knee — I had two major back strains and a jammed SI Joint and rotated pelvis from a fall onstage (for 3 years – had no clue) — and also a bone spur in my left hip.
My favorite singer on the planet is Kelly Clarkson (someday I will sing with her!). I’ve seen her front row 8 times.
I sucked my finger until I was 15 and had to get braces to fix my teeth (so embarrassing!)
I’m obsessed with house plants (I have over 50 at home). #plantdaddy
